About This Pool
Scale is the story here. Hayman Pool holds roughly 6.5 million liters of water, about seven Olympic pools' worth, and is billed as the largest pool in Australia: a ring of freshwater around a saltwater center, with a bar in the middle and suites in the Pool Wing that swim straight out from their balconies. Around it, the Whitsundays do the rest: white sand, warm shallows and the Great Barrier Reef a short boat ride away. The water is unheated, which in a Queensland December is exactly what you want.
