Suspended on the rim of an eroded volcanic cone, Bisate Lodge's heated infinity pool looks out over six volcanoes — including the Virunga massif, home to half the world's mountain gorillas. The pool is small and intimate by design, making it feel like your own private viewing platform. Guests typically divide their days between gorilla trekking at dawn and floating here in the late afternoon as clouds roll across the peaks.
